MONOVISION is a principle of difference in refractive error correction, in both eyes. That means, dominant eye is corrected for far, and non-dominant for near vision.
This is a choice for high refractive errors, when the patient tolerates small differences in both eyes.
This could be achieved, by excimer laser or lens exchange surgery, with monofocal IOLs.
